Scope of Responsibility / Expectation:
- Identifying security risks and proposing enterprise-grade solutions.
- Facilitate and drive the execution of controls within DevOps environments.
- Providing internal consulting support on matters related to cloud security.
- Maintaining relevant documentation as needed (e.g., design documents, implementation and troubleshooting guides).
Specific Knowledge/Skills/Experience
- Experience in public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), including considerations of multi-cloud.
- Certification as a Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or equivalent is a plus.
- Skills in designing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Maven, TeamCity) and pipeline deployment guardrails (e.g., Terraform).
- Skilled in Linux operating systems (Debian, Ubuntu, RHEL) and experience with Linux containers.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cloud infrastructure security controls such as Identity & Access Management (Oauth, AD) and network security (e.g., Application Gateway, Web Application Firewalls).
- Experience with Software Composition Analysis and Static Code Analysis tools
- Good to have knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
- Able to articulate cyber risks in a business context.
- Passionate about the mission of protecting the company against cyber threats.
- Experience developing automation to solve security problems at scale.
- Organized and efficient; able to focus on critical tasks and meet occasionally demanding deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- At least 5 years of experience
